The Opportunity

We are actively seeking experienced HSE Managers to support major Data Centre and Critical Infrastructure projects across Europe. These are contract opportunities working with leading international contractors, developers, and engineering firms on large-scale mission-critical developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and promote a positive HSE culture across project sites.
Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, local legislation, and industry best practices.
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Support project teams with the implementation of safety management systems and safe working practices.
Monitor contractor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training when required.
Produce and maintain HSE reports, statistics, and project documentation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on all HSE matters.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior HSE role on large-scale construction projects.
Previous Data Centre experience is strongly preferred.
Experience across mission-critical facilities, critical infrastructure, industrial, EPC, power, energy, substations, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or large-scale MEP projects will also be considered.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and management systems.
Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Construction, NVQ Level 6/7, or equivalent.
IOSH, CMIOSH, or equivalent professional membership.
Additional HSE certifications and project-specific training are advantageous.
