Our Client is recruiting for an experienced Foreman / General Foreman to join the HS2 project in Aylesbury and Brackley. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest and most prestigious civil engineering schemes,
Responsibilities
Managing and supervising direct labour and subcontractors on site.Organising works, logistics and resources to achieve programme milestones.Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health, safety and environmental requirements.Delivering daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.Supporting site management with planning and progress reporting.Promoting a positive safety culture across the project.Maintaining excellent communication between site teams and project stakeholders.Requirements
Previous experience as a Foreman or General Foreman on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.Strong background in Structures and RC Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or specialist sub contractor CSCS required.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to drive programme delivery whilst maintaining the highest safety standards. About the Role
Smart4EPC is recruiting an experienced General Foreman to lead on major concrete and structures works across delivery in Brackley and Aylesbury. You'll manage site operations, coordinate teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality work across a Tier 1 delivery programme.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage site teams on concrete and structures activitiesPlan and coordinate daily site works and resource deploymentEnsure compliance with safety standards, method statements, and quality requirementsLiaise with clients, engineers, and subcontractorsMonitor programme delivery and site productivityManage health, safety and environmental compliance on siteAbout You
Proven experience as a Foreman/General Foreman on major infrastructure or civils projectsSolid background in concrete and structures workSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificationCSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)Strong leadership and team management capabilityExcellent communication and organisational skillsHS2 experience is desirable but not essential, we're looking for someone with the right infrastructure credentials and site management experience.
