Project Planner
Location: London, England
We are seeking a Project Planner to join our client's team on a Highways Maintenance scheme office on a freelance basis on a long term contract based out of their Slough project office.
Responsibilities:
Creating weekly reports and 'look ahead' forecasts.
Submit NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance
Control, analysis, maintain and recovery-plan activities, through all stages of the Project Life Cycle.
Plan and schedule major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment projects
Requirements:
Proven experience in project planning/scheduling on highways maintenance projects
Extensive experience using in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject
Previous working experience for Tier One/ Two Civil Engineering firms is highly desirable

We're looking for a capable Site Engineer with strong CAD and setting out skills to join the delivery team on site. You'll work closely with the Section Engineer and project management team, taking responsibility for day-to-day engineering on your section of works.
Key ResponsibilitiesSetting out works using total station, GPS/GNSS, and levels - including kerb lines, drainage falls, footway/cycleway alignments and tie-insInterpreting and working from CAD drawings (AutoCAD/Civil 3D) to produce setting out data and check as-built positionsPreparing and checking method statements, ITPs, and inspection recordsRaising and managing RFIs where design clarification is neededCarrying out dimensional checks and recording as-built surveysLiaising with subcontractors, site supervisors, and the client's RE teamSupporting the wider engineering team with quality documentation and site recordsRequirementsProven site engineering experience on highways, active travel, or civil infrastructure schemesStrong setting out capability - total station, GNSS, digital levelsConfident working with CAD drawings; ability to extract and use setting out data (AutoCAD/Civil 3D advantageous)Familiarity with ITP and NCR processesHNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)CSCS card (Gold/Blue minimum)Full UK driving licenceDesirableExperience on active travel, cycleways, or highway improvement schemesPrevious work within a local authority or Highways England framework environmentExperience working alongside Resident Engineers / clerk of works Read lessAll your saved jobs are no longer available or you've already applied.
