About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of design-related change across major Heathrow airport programmes. You'll join a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, identifying, pricing, negotiating and agreeing changes that arise from design development, scope evolution and client instructions.
You'll be a trusted commercial partner to engineering, planning, project controls and client teams, challenging and supporting design teams to make sure changes are well substantiated, commercially recoverable and in line with contractual entitlements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial assessment of design development and change across Heathrow programmesWork with engineering and design teams to identify change and risk at the earliest stagePrepare and manage change submissions, compensation events, instructions and variationsAdvise on contractual entitlement and maintain compliance with NEC requirementsNegotiate with clients, delivery partners and contractors through to final account settlementChallenge scope growth and present cost impacts and option appraisals to support decisionsMaintain change registers and governance processesKey Requirements
