Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Centers

Responsibilities
* Lead the design of mechanical systems for new construction, renovations, and facility upgrades, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and associated infrastructure
* Develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Perform system assessments, feasibility studies, and master planning efforts
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient project delivery
* Work independently on smaller projects and provide leadership on larger, more complex efforts
* Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and support design validation
* Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection using industry-standard tools
* Prepare detailed engineering reports, studies, and design narratives
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
* Support construction administration activities, including submittal reviews and site coordination
* Conduct QA/QC reviews of design deliverables
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers


Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within mission-critical, data center, telecommunications, or industrial environments
* Proven experience designing HVAC systems and related building infrastructure
* Experience working on complex, fast-paced projects with multiple stakeholders
* Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and industry standards
* Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel as required for project needs
