Responsibilities
* Lead the design of mechanical systems for new construction, renovations, and facility upgrades, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and associated infrastructure
* Develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Perform system assessments, feasibility studies, and master planning efforts
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient project delivery
* Work independently on smaller projects and provide leadership on larger, more complex efforts
* Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and support design validation
* Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection using industry-standard tools
* Prepare detailed engineering reports, studies, and design narratives
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
* Support construction administration activities, including submittal reviews and site coordination
* Conduct QA/QC reviews of design deliverables
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers
Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within mission-critical, data center, telecommunications, or industrial environments
* Proven experience designing HVAC systems and related building infrastructure
* Experience working on complex, fast-paced projects with multiple stakeholders
* Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and industry standards
* Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel as required for project needs

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the physical security system design for data centers coordinating with all other discipline requirements.Create strategy for data center security system design and deployment.Develop security system standards in compliance with US government, industry and other international standards.Assist with the development and maintenance of the Physical Security Basis of Design, master specification, master drawings.Facilitate developing project specific drawings and documentation based on the master design with local adaptation working with external design consultants.Engineer access-control, VSS, intrusion-detection and to meet SOC 2 & ISO 27001.Create zoning and mantrap layouts, badge/biometric authentication flows and visitor-management SOPs.Specify encryption and retention policies for video, logs and alarms.Integrate security events into DCIM and corporate SIEM platforms.Drive resiliency (dual-path comms, battery backup) and regular penetration-test programs.
Requirements
10+ years designing hyperscale / enterprise or mission-critical physical-security systems.Experience working in an engineering environment; able to read and understand RFIs, Submittals, Specifications, Drawings.Experience collaborating with other engineering teams on designs, such as on Divisions 8, 26, 27, 28, and 32.Deep knowledge of system hardening, structured cabling, door hardware, CPTED, installation methodologies, gates/fences, PIDS or other end-to-end components of an enterprise integrated security system.Experience with enterprise electronic security products down to the component level.CPP, PSP, CISSP, and other relevant certifications are desirable.
