QA/QC Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to support the delivery of a 100MW greenfield hyperscale data centre project in Stockholm, Sweden, on behalf of a fast-growing Nordic General Contractor. Reporting to the QA/QC Manager and project leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring all construction works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, project quality standards, and client requirements.
As a hands-on site-based quality professional, you will oversee inspections, implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), monitor subcontractor compliance, manage NCRs, and coordinate quality activities across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical work packages. You will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and the client to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained from installation through to commissioning and handover.
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or trade qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4-6 years of QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects, with data centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, or similar complex project experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Supervisor, QA/QC Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or Senior Quality Coordinator working for a General Contractor, Main Contractor, or major subcontractor.
- Strong understanding of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, testing procedures, quality inspections, and construction quality processes.
- Experience carrying out inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, and/or electrical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Hands-on experience raising, tracking, and closing out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and supporting corrective and preventative action processes.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles within a construction environment.
- Experience reviewing quality records, inspection reports, material certificates, test documentation, and handover records.
- Familiarity with punch-list management, mechanical completion, commissioning support, and project handover processes.
- Strong ability to coordinate with subcontractors, site management teams, consultants, and client representatives.
- Experience maintaining quality documentation in structured document management systems and in accordance with Good Document Practices (GDP).
- Previous data centre experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Nordic contractors or on projects within the Nordic region is advantageous.
- Fluent English required; Swedish language skills are beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site quality inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Verify works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, and applicable standards.
- Implement and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all hold points and witness points are completed and documented correctly.
- Raise, track, and assist in the close-out of NCRs and quality observations.
- Coordinate inspections and quality activities with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Review inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor subcontractor adherence to approved quality plans, procedures, and workmanship standards.
- Support internal and external quality audits and assist with implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure all documentation is filed in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist with snagging, punch-list management, mechanical completion, commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Provide regular quality updates and reports to the QA/QC Manager and project management team.
- Promote a culture of quality excellence across all project stakeholders and work packages.
