Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in civil engineering structures and highways infrastructure?
We are working with a leading UK civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure scheme in Oxfordshire and are seeking a proactive and technically competent Structures Site Agent to join the project team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile project, managing site operations, driving programme delivery, and leading engineering teams through the construction phase.
The RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of structures works while maintaining quality, programme, and budget objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and mentoring Site Engineers and Section EngineersSupporting project delivery across programme, budget, safety, and quality targetsPlanning and coordinating construction activities and site resourcesProducing and reviewing work package plans and construction documentationManaging subcontractors and supplier performanceMonitoring progress and ensuring contractual requirements are metWorking closely with planning and commercial teamsLeading site meetings, briefings, and reporting activitiesEnsuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsSupporting project close-out activities and documentationPromoting a positive safety culture across the project teamRequirementsEssential:
Previous experience as a Site Agent, Senior Engineer, or Section Engineer on civil engineering projectsStrong understanding of NEC contractsHNC, HND, or Degree in Civil EngineeringSMSTSFirst Aid at WorkExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong technical and problem-solving capabilitiesDesirable:
