We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a Major Rail Framework in their Hertfordshire office on a permanent basis.
Our client is an industry leader within the Rail space and have worked on a large scale projects across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:
Supporting the Quantity Surveyor in managing all contractual and commercial needs across a number of concurrent schemes at different stages.
Managing and identifying opportunities and risks within the contract.
Meeting and collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and the project team for smooth project delivery.

Requirements:
Experience working as either an Trainee Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Holds relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying
Experience in Rail is adventurous.
Confident communicator and problem solver, able to work with diverse teams and contractors.

Requirements:

Ability to work with Site teams, contractors and external parties to discus the project's progress and understand and issues.
Confidently spoken and able to successful influence and engage with suppliers and contractors.
Knowledge of NEC contracts is adventurous.
