A leading engineering and commissioning consultancy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Agent to join its growing team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commissioning professional to take a lead role in the testing, validation, and optimisation of critical infrastructure systems supporting data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial environments, and other complex facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical commissioning activities from planning through project completionDevelop and manage commissioning plans in accordance with industry best practicesCoordinate functional testing of complex mechanical systems and redundant equipment configurationsReview design documents, specifications, drawings, and equipment submittalsExecute and oversee testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance verification activitiesPrepare commissioning reports, operating procedures, and technical documentationCollaborate with owners, contractors, design teams, and vendors throughout project deliveryMentor and provide oversight to junior commissioning engineersSupport client-facing meetings and commissioning strategy development
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience6+ years of hands-on commissioning experience within mission critical, data center, industrial, healthcare, or commercial facilitiesStrong understanding of mechanical building systems and commissioning methodologiesExperience leading site-based testing and validation activitiesFamiliarity with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines and industry best practicesExcellent technical writing and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and project teamsPE license or recognised commissioning certification preferred
