Major London Infrastructure Project | Main Contractor | Up to 60k p/a
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and commercial activities for the utilities civils scope on a major station modernisation scheme in London. You'll work across drainage, water supply, power distribution, and telecoms infrastructure, supporting the design, procurement, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain cost budgets and forecasts for utilities civils packagesManage variation orders and change control on utilities scopeMonitor subcontractor invoicing, cost forecasts, and payment applicationsTrack expenditure against budget and report variance to project controlsLiaise with civils engineers and site management on cost implications of design changesManage commercial claims and cost-related correspondenceMaintain records and documentation to support the commercial positionAbout You
Qualified QS (RICS preferred) or equivalent experience in utilities civils or infrastructure cost managementProven track record on major infrastructure or station/rail projectsStrong Excel and cost management software skillsComfortable managing multiple subcontractors and work packagesExcellent communication and stakeholder managementWhat We Offer
