We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Structures Senior Project Manager in coordinating and delivering multidisciplinary work packages across a major rail infrastructure project. About the Role:
We're supporting a major UK infrastructure programme and are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a major Tier One Civil engineering contractor. The role manages remaining design scope exceeding £100m in value, liaising with the client and the Principal Designer, and certifying that works have been constructed in accordance with the design.
Suited to either a strong Project Manager with pre-construction experience, or a Design-led Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all design disciplines on the project, managing design consultant communications, submissions and deliverables.Maintain and update the Design Management Programme (DMP) and design programme, tracking milestones and managing recovery where required.Manage design interfaces and integration across all workstreams, resolving clashes and escalating issues as appropriate.Liaise with the client and the Principal Designer, representing the Tier 1 Contractor in design reviews and assurance forums.Certify, on behalf of the Lead Design Manager, that works are constructed in accordance with the approved design.Ensure compliance with the clients technical standards, the Design Management Plan, and relevant work instructions including WI300 5.3.Manage design consultant performance against contractual deliverables, supporting change control and cost oversight.Requirements:
