A leading infrastructure and highways services organisation is seeking an experienced Planner to support the delivery of highway maintenance contracts across the Slough region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering essential infrastructure works.
🚀 The RoleYou will play a key role in planning and programme management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will develop, monitor, and optimise project programmes across all phases.
This role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies, with the ability to challenge assumptions, refine sequencing, and ensure robust and achievable delivery plans.

We are seeking a Project Planner to join our client's team on a Highways Maintenance scheme office on a freelance basis on a long term contract based out of their Slough project office.
Responsibilities:
Creating weekly reports and 'look ahead' forecasts.
Submit NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance
Control, analysis, maintain and recovery-plan activities, through all stages of the Project Life Cycle.
Plan and schedule major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment projects
Requirements:
Proven experience in project planning/scheduling on highways maintenance projects
Extensive experience using in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject
Previous working experience for Tier One/ Two Civil Engineering firms is highly desirable

We are working with leading highways service provider is looking for an experienced Planner to support the successful delivery of its maintenance and improvement programmes across the Slough region. This role is central to ensuring works are well‑structured, efficiently sequenced and delivered to agreed timescales.
The Role
You will be responsible for building, maintaining and monitoring project programmes across design, procurement, construction and handover stages. Using your understanding of construction methodology and outputs, you'll challenge assumptions, refine logic and ensure all activities are accurately represented. You'll also support change management, progress reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
