We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support a major data centre project in Finland.
Working on behalf of the client team, you will provide site-based HSE oversight, monitor contractor activities, and help ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with project standards.
Essential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience as an HSE Officer, Safety Officer, or Site Safety CoordinatorConstruction, infrastructure, industrial, or data centre experienceUnderstanding of construction health and safety requirementsExperience carrying out site inspections and safety observationsStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to engage effectively with contractors and site personnelFluent English requiredFinnish language skills advantageousKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor contractor activities across siteConduct daily site inspections and safety observationsAssist with reviewing permits, risk assessments, and safety documentationRecord and track HSE findings and corrective actionsSupport incident reporting and investigationsAttend contractor coordination and safety meetingsProvide feedback to project stakeholders on HSE performancePromote safe working practices and behavioural safety initiativesSupport the client's overall project HSE objectivesRead less
