A leading contractor is seeking an experienced EHS Lead to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Stockholm, Sweden.
This role will oversee Health, Safety & Environmental compliance across a large-scale electrical package, ensuring safe working practices throughout installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to maintain high EHS standards on a fast-paced, mission-critical project.
Essential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience as an EHS Lead, Senior Advisor, or EHS Manager on major construction projectsData centre, mission-critical, industrial, or high-risk construction experienceStrong electrical construction backgroundExperience reviewing RAMS, permits to work, and risk assessmentsKnowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activitiesStrong understanding of construction and electrical safety requirementsExperience conducting inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigationsAbility to influence and drive a strong safety culture on siteStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in fast-paced project environmentsKnowledge of Swedish HSE legislation is desirableFluent English required; Swedish beneficialKey ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day EHS activities across the electrical packageMonitor site activities and ensure compliance with project and legal requirementsReview RAMS, permits, and risk assessmentsConduct site inspections, audits, and safety walksSupport and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefingsIdentify hazards and implement corrective actionsInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe actsCoordinate EHS requirements with contractors, subcontractors, and client teamsTrack EHS performance and support continuous improvement initiativesPromote a positive safety culture across all work activitiesRead less
